The 3rd Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival 2018 Opens
At 7:30 pm on the 19th September, local time, with the attendance of more than 300 documentary filmmakers from more than 50 countries around the world, the 3rd Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival officially opened at the Cinestar Cinema in Frankfurt.
Message from the President of 2018 Golden Tree Festival
Dear guests, ladies and gentlemen:
Good evening!
I am very glad to meet you again in the beautiful city of Frankfurt. I am also glad to see many new friends, who came to this event today. I extend a warm welcome to our friends from all over the world on behalf of the staff of the organizing committee of the Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to the friends of the Golden Tree Documentary Film Festival for their support and help!
It has been three years since the First Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival was held in 2016. The festival is like a fast growing small tree and now 4034 documentary films from a total of 125 countries will participate in this year´s festival. I thank you for witnessing the cultivation of this golden tree together with me. “A country has boundaries, but culture is boundless”. As an important carrier of cultural exchange, documentary films bear the important responsibility for exchange and mutual learning between the civilizations around the world. The goal of the Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival is “the development of a global vision, the exploration of the cultural source between different cultural from all over the world and the promotion of exchange and mutual learning”. The festival is committed to the jointly creation of a cooperation platform for equal exchange and mutually beneficial development of documentary filmmakers all over the world.
Many friends have kept close contact with us after last year´s Golden Tree Festival and benefited a lot. This year the Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival launched a Joint Meeting Hall, where you can complete the registration for the festival, jointly release information, issue purchase requests through an agency and invest in a documentary film as if you were in the common living room at your home. (By the way, I would like to tell you, my friends, that the consultant of Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival Investment Fund, Mr. Anatoli Skatchkov is ready to invest 500.000 euros into the market).
